Named after the Sanskrit word for "instant," it is designed as a daily-carry lens for street, travel, and documentary photographers. It offers a unique visual signature characterized by a warm, 1970s-style amber glow while still delivering high resolution across the frame through modern aspherical glass. It is natively an M-mount lens but is widely used on Sony E-mount systems via short-flange adapters.
